Who can use TipMeUp?
TipMeUp is for people who give tips and service professionals who receive them, including drivers, housekeepers, baristas, musicians and bartenders. Tippers do not need an account. New professional account setup currently offers Canada, the United States and Brazil; receiving payouts depends on verification and payment-provider eligibility.
Where can I use TipMeUp?
Professionals can currently select Canada, the United States or Brazil when setting up an account.
A tipper can open an active TipMeUp page from another country, but available payment methods and whether a payment can be completed depend on the location and payment account. We plan to add more countries as they become supported.
How Can My Tipper Pay?
No app. No sign-up. No hassle.
Your tipper scans your QR code, chooses one of the preset tips or enters a custom amount, and pays using a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other global payment methods.
It’s that simple: Scan. Choose. Tip.
How do I get paid?
Once you receive a tip, it will be deposited directly into your bank account, following the standard processing time.
Is there a fee to use TipMeUp?
No monthly fees. We charge a simple 5% + $0.40 per transaction. No ads, no hidden fees, and we’ll never sell your data.
Is TipMeUp safe and reliable?
Absolutely! We take security seriously and use trusted payment partners to help keep your data and your tippers’ information protected.
We never store credit card information on our servers. Our payments are securely processed by Stripe, so your payment data stays protected.
